I'm the least tech person you know, and Claude for Small Business still won me over

Here's Why I'm Telling You About Claude.
When people find out I run a coaching business about AI, they assume I came from a tech background. Or I am that 'techie' person. I can guarantee you that I am the least tech person. If anything, my very tech husband would roll his eyes at the tech issues I would get from time to time and don't understand how it is even possible. Yes I am that person. The one that tech always finds a way to make life hard, complicated or difficult to navigate.
I want to break into a cold sweat when someone says the word "API." or "configuration" For years I avoided anything that looked like code, and even remotely looked complicated.
So when I tell you the question "what AI tool should I use for my business" just got a real answer, I'm not saying it from inside the tech bubble. I'm saying it from where you're sitting.
The answer is Claude. And here's why that matters for your week.
Discovering Claude in my business has been the most amazing thing.
Why Use Claude For Your Small Business
Anthropic, the people who created Claude, just shipped something called Claude for Small Business. It's not a separate product. It's a toggle that turns Claude into something that actually does the work for you instead of just talking you through it.

If you're already on a Team or Enterprise plan, it's free. Already included.
What's inside? Fifteen ready-to-go workflows for the unsexy stuff that eats your week. Drafting invoices. Chasing payments. Writing campaign briefs. Sorting your inbox. Building proposals. The bits you do every Tuesday afternoon when you'd rather be picking your kid up from soccer.
It plugs straight into the tools you're already using. HubSpot. Canva. Google Workspace. Microsoft 365. QuickBooks. PayPal. Docusign. No new platform to learn. No expensive add-on. Just a switch you flick on.
The bigger picture (the bit that should make you exhale)
Here's why I'm so excited about this.
For years, every small business owner I've coached has asked me the same question. "Which AI should I be using?" And the reality was that the answer always ended with a bit of a shrug. It depends. Different tools - different abilities. And lets be real - all these tools owned by tech giants compete for the spotlight, brining out new updates all the time. It can be very overwhelming. But never once had any small business tell me they regret using Claude, if anything that thank me afterwards...

If you tell me you can't use your evening to experiment with Claude - I will tell you that is a rubbish answer. Because by learning Claude and implementing it in your business can save you up to 10 hour a week.
This month the answer got clearer. Anthropic just gave Claude an update worth knowing about. It can now work after you close the laptop, not just while you're staring at the screen. Hand it a task from your phone, walk away, and it keeps going in the background, even overnight. By the time you're back at your desk, there's a draft waiting instead of a blank page, and nothing sends or publishes without you checking it first.
It also got better at actually doing things, not just suggesting them. If you run on Microsoft 365, it can draft the reply, add the calendar event, or update the file itself. There's even a new setting for quiet hours, because the point was never to have AI running your whole life. Use it. Don't be used by it.
If you are using Google Workspace, you have the ability to connect to your calendar, your Drive, and your inbox. Calendar and Drive are full read and write, so it can create or move meetings and pull up or save documents. Gmail it can search and draft, but never send. You stay in control of what actually goes out. Personally I will talk into my claude, book in a meeting, it can search my contacts to find the persons email address or search the address for me. Minutes in business are precious. - save them where you can.

Where to start this week
If you do nothing else, do this one thing. Open Claude. Tell it what your business does and what you do every week that drains you. Ask it to suggest the three workflows you could hand over first.
That conversation alone will save you the cost of a session. And it'll show you what's actually possible before you spend a cent.
You'll probably finish it thinking, "wait, I could've been doing this six months ago." Don't dwell on that. Just start now.
Keep following me on social media, I will keep dropping videos, posts and blogs on how to use tools. And if you want to take your Claude to the next level, PM me on LinkedIn and I will sent you my free Claude Guide for Small business owners.
Let's have a chat
If you're tired of bookmarking AI articles you'll never read, let's talk. I run free 15 minute discovery calls for small business owners who want someone to cut through the noise and get straight to what actually matters for their business, in plain English.
No pitch, no pressure. Just a chat to see if we're a good fit. If we're not, I'll tell you straight and we'll part as friends. If we are, we'll talk about what's next.
I keep these calls limited, so PM me on LinkedIn with your business website and I'll send you the link to book.
